As you spend the day lounging outside, make sure to keep your tablecloth from billowing in the breeze. Use bungee cords and grommets to anchor an oilcloth tablecloth underneath the table.
Fill a metal planter with ice and flowers to turn it into a bright beverage cooler. For an easy centerpiece, tuck fresh-picked wildflowers into empty bottles among the cold drinks.
These place mats manage to look luxe and casual at the same time — and they’re so inexpensive that you won’t fuss over party spills.
Since “easy” is the name of the game for this party, dress up cupcakes with scoops of ice cream or gelato instead of making frosting.
