Senior Interior Designer Position

Traci Connell Interiors is an innovative interior design firm that blends the creativity of design with the practicality of life. This award-winning firm is hiring a Senior Interior Designer who has an Interior Design degree and a minimum of 3-5 years experience.  The candidate will work directly with our team of interior designers to design and manage custom build projects, large renovations as well as develop full home interiors from project conceptualization through furnishings installation.

Description:Seeking a Senior Interior Designer with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in high-end residential design. The Designer will oversee large, long-term residential and new construction/remodel projects with high-end clientele from concept through installation; working closely with Principal. Must be energetic, proactive, detail-oriented, very organized, client savvy and able to work independently as well as collaborate with the team. He/She must be fast and work efficiently under pressure. The candidate should be comfortable managing multiple projects at the same time, and be proficient in managing his/her schedule.  It would be a plus if the candidate is proficient with Studio Webware.

Job Requirements:

In this position, you will:

• Develop presentations, schemes and budgets for new projects with Senior Designer/ Principal.
• Create detailed floor plans, elevations and furniture designs in Auto-CAD for new construction projects as well as remodels/renovations
• Carry out purchasing and order tracking for multiple concurrent projects.
• Communicate extensively with vendors and clients.
• Extensive knowledge of residential construction and finish schedules
• Extensive knowledge of high end furnishing lines
• Manage contractors, coordinate & oversee installations.
• Create quotes and execute purchase orders.
• Source fabrics, furniture, lighting, fixtures, tile, plumbing fittings & fixtures, and accessories.
• Studio Webware a plus. 

Qualifications:  Interior Design Degree, Photoshop proficient, AutoCAD proficient
